On August 25, the autumn yarnexpo opens at the National Exhibition and Convention Center in Shanghai. The Indian delegation has doubled in size compared to last edition, and BCI-certified yarn, traceable cotton, and recycled fibers have become the keywords buyers ask about most. The natural fiber market is projected to reach $68.37 billion in 2026 - buyers no longer lead with price; their first question is now "Is your yarn certified?"

Behind this shift is the hard threshold of supply chain traceability imposed by European and American brands. A factory without OCS, GRS, or OEKO-TEX 100 can't even pass the factory audit stage. Ningbo Jinlin Knitting has held five certifications since 2005 - OCS, GRS, HIGG Index, U.S. COTTON, and OEKO-TEX 100. Its cotton knitted fabric production lines, with an annual capacity of 95,000 tons, run exclusively on certified yarn, including organic cotton knitted fabric and regular combed cotton. The compact-spun combed cotton yarn that buyers chase at the expo is exactly the front-end feedstock for our mercerized cotton - after processing through the Japanese Kyoto liquid ammonia mercerizing line, the fabric surface gains a rich luster and smooth hand feel, with color fastness ≥ Grade 4, directly targeting premium T-shirt and loungewear orders.

"Traceability" is the word that comes up most often at this year's show. The COTTON USA (CCI) delegation brings "field-to-spinning" full-chain traceability, while we rely on the dual backing of U.S. COTTON certification + OEKO-TEX 100, with reports available for every stage from yarn to finished fabric. If you're looking for a factory that provides complete knitted fabric with certification, standard MOQ is 500 kg per color, bulk lead time 25–35 days, and free A4 color cards are available.
