Cotton Fabric refers to textiles woven from fibers containing nearly 100% cotton, typically allowing for trace amounts of decorative non-cotton fibers.

Its key characteristics are as follows:

Exceptional Comfort:As a natural fiber, it offers a soft, skin-friendly touch; it is highly breathable, moisture-absorbent, and rarely causes allergic reactions.

Eco-friendly and Safe:It generates no static electricity and-particularly in long-staple varieties-resists pilling; furthermore, when burned, it produces neither black smoke nor unpleasant odors.

Inherent Drawbacks:It wrinkles easily and is slow to recover its smooth form; it exhibits a relatively high shrinkage rate (3%–5%) after washing; and prolonged exposure to sunlight can lead to fading.

Main Classifications:

By Weave:Plain weave (lightweight and breathable), Twill weave (sturdy and elastic), and Sateen weave (smooth and lustrous).

By Raw Material:Carded cotton (standard everyday quality), Combed cotton (short fibers removed for a smoother finish), and Long-staple cotton (premium quality, such as Egyptian cotton or Pima cotton).

Typical Applications:T-shirts, shirts, jeans, bed linen sets, baby clothing and handkerchiefs, canvas shoes, etc.

Purchasing Tips:If the product label clearly states "100% Cotton," and the fabric is free of chemical odors and possesses a natural feel, you can be confident that it is authentic Cotton Fabric.
