CNY 3.3B Spandex Phase II Breaks Ground, Knitting Mills Benefit

   On the morning of August 18, the second phase of Xinxiang Chemical Fiber's 100,000-ton functional spandex fiber project broke ground at Xinxiang Economic Development Zone in Henan. With a total investment of CNY 3.3 billion and about CNY 1.05 billion allocated to this phase alone, the project is designed to produce 50,000 tons of ultra-fine denier functional spandex annually and is expected to reach full operation by Q3 2027. It adopts continuous polymerization dry-spinning, 150-200-end ultra-high-density spinning equipment, and 5G+industrial internet smart production lines, focusing on 20D and below fine-denier high-resilience spandex. Upstream elastic fiber capacity is accelerating toward the high end, and downstream knitted fabric mills are the first to feel the warmth.
